Cutting, Drying & Segregating
From Raw Material to Masterpiece: Our artisans begin by carefully preparing the Kauna grass. Harvested from local wetlands, the stems are cleaned, sorted by thickness, and sun-dried until they reach the perfect balance of flexibility and strength.
Prepping, Weaving & Finishing
The Weaving Process: Each piece is woven with patience, skill, and generations of tradition. Artisans use their hands as primary tools, interlocking fibers to create structures that are incredibly durable yet light as air. The final touch involves meticulous trimming and natural treatments to ensure longevity.
